Cosmosis ''Psychedelica Melodika''

Cosmosis is an electronic music project, specifically goa trance. Personnel originally consisted of Bill Halsey and Jez Van Kampen for the first album: "Cosmology" widely regarded as a classic in the Goa Trance genre. Subsequent albums from and including "Synergy" lean towards the less melodic but more complex Psy-Trance sound and were produced by Bill Halsey only. (aka Bilbo Bagginz)


Overall, the music on Psychedelica Melodica emphasises melody more than the previous record Trancendance and yet manages to combine that with a deep psychedelic sensibility - hence the title. Psychedelica Melodica also majors in rubbery basslines and throbbing dance grooves often at times with a liberal dash of funk.

All this is presented with the state of the art production level as well as character; that rare element that distinguishes artists from the artisans and which in this case makes the music uniquely identifiable as Cosmosis in a genre in which tracks often sound formulaic.

Real Name:Max Lanfranconi, Maurizio Begotti, Carlo Paternò, Andrea Rizzo, Filippo Scrimizzi & Francesco D'Amato

The joint project of Etnica/Pleiadians and their fellow Italians Lotus Omega. The first tracks ever composed were Lunar Civilization and Different Species, made by Filippo, Carlo & Maurizio only. The tracks were then sent on DAT to Max that at the time was in Bali DJing. The music was all composed during the summer of 1996 in the studio they set up in Milano with all the machines from Etnica and Lotus Omega. For Full Mental Jackpot 10 mixes were made in only one stormy afternoon, but only 2 made it to the public release. Much of the material went lost through the years because of an hard-drive crash and DAT being lost. The debut album was finished and was being called Tetrahedron, expected to be released in 1998 on Auracle Recordings. Unfortunately the label went bankrupt before it could be realized. The album was finally released 10 years after in late 2008 on DAT Records

Porcupine Tree is a british rock band formed in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England in 1987. During the course of the band’s history, they have at times incorporated psychedelic rock, alternative, ambient, electronic, and, most recently, metal and post-rock into their unique style of progressive rock.

Porcupine Tree started out as a fake band, the only real member being multi-instrumentalist Steven Wilson.

Claro Intelecto's album is a masterpiece of continuously shifting mood and tempo controlling the floor from the Theo Parrish-paced deep house of "Percentages" to the piano-driven soundscaping of "Baudrillards Supper" to the crushing Warehouse acid of "Back" to the already-classic sounding generic hybrids of EP hits "Chicago," "Peace of Mind," "Section," and "Contact." The simple fact is that techno albums don't tend to work. When they do, everyone sits up and takes notice. But "Neurofibro" is a techno rarity. An album that works from start to finish, taking in a myriad styles, paying homage to the masters, and developing some new tricks all its own. In the end all that's needed to describe this record is one word: classic.
